Everyone that have met a well bred Staff normally find themselves charmed by the apperance and personality of this true
British dog. This is an appealing breed of dog, who it is very easy to fall in love with. And the Staff will return the love
with its true affection.
But remember that even if this is a small dog, it is still very tough, and some specimens will not tolerate other dogs of
the same sex. But when properly raised this behavior should be controllable.
The size and weight of the Staff does vary much, depending on which lines it comes from, but they usally comes
between 36-41 cm. (14-16 in) at the shoulder and have a weight between 13-20 kg. (28-44 lbs).
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier should always be powerful, but still show athletism. You should be able to understand, by
looking at its compact built body, that this is an untirable worker. This was what the Staff was bred for, and this is how
it still should be.
The short coated Staff comes in almost every colour, red, yellow, white, black, blue, brindle. All colours with or without white.
